Happy Birthday, Claire!

its my friend claire's birthday, so i made her a cake.

summer berry charlotte - kirsch-soaked vanilla bean biscuit sponge, berry compote, cream cheese mousse, very expensive biscuits rose de reims (french pink champagne biscuits) in place of the normal sponge fingers, and summer berries. hope she likes it :) i think baking cakes for friends' birthdays is the best, no need to waste brain cells on takes the hassle out of buying gifts :p
